Jessica F. Angel is an architect of spaces and communities interested in alternative modes of living. She is a co-founder of Almost Studio, a design practice in NY and the CEO of the recently acquired Château du Feÿ, where she started a multi-disciplinary art festival called Feÿ. She has worked in Berlin, New York and the Ivory Coast on projects ranging from furniture to urban design. In New York, she worked at Eisenman Architects and in the Ivory Coast, she started a small architectural practice to renovate a 10,000 ft² commercial building and work on smaller projects. She has been a teaching fellow for diverse courses at Yale and considers teaching a fundamental part of her life. Prior to Almost Studio, she joined Gakko, an educational startup based in San Francisco, that organizes interdisciplinary summer programs for high schoolers around the world while pursuing her investigation on domestic spaces, communes, and household governance as an active member of the Embassy Network, which she started during her master final project with Pier Vittorio Aureli. She holds a Master’s degree (M. Arch I) from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)
